Sometimes you just need to lose yourself in a crop of memes. Remember the days when, after school, you'd pull up to the family computer just to see what was up? You'd log into AOL, maybe message a few friends, and then off you'd go to places like Cheezburger to see what new memes were being produced. It was an electric time to be on the internet. Nothing was all-consuming yet. It felt like a physical place you could go to and then leave when you needed to. Then, somewhere along the line, we lost that. Our phones gave us access to the internet all the time, and while it felt good at first, it soon started to spoil. It was annoying to feel like we could never shake it.
